US Mission says not to give killer vehicle

LAHORE: United States Consulate in Lahore has refused to surrender the vehicle to police that had crushed a passerby Ibad-ur-Rehman during firing incident at Mazang area of Lahore, sources said.

A team of Lahore Police officials, comprises two SP’s and a DSP, visited the US Consulate in Lahore and demanded for surrendering the vehicle involved in the incident. But the Consulate’s officials refused to give the vehicle in police custody, sources added.

on one hand we have ruling party’s members expressing their “personal” opinions on how raymond davis enjoys immunity while totally ignoring the fact that there are a good number evidences that he was not a diplomat, on the other hand punjab police/ govt is trying to get hold of the other killer and the vehicle and fed govt is not helping at all… there was a news somewhere that in last 2 weeks, punjab police wrote 6 (six) letters to the US consulate in lahore to hand over the other motorist who killed a man and also the vehicle… what is pee pee pee’s stance on it?

they are cursing the day CJ got restored and they had to lift Governor-RAJ to let the PML-N govt continue their work in the province...

would be same as it was in the case of CJ-Restoration, NRO Bill and other things which they did tried and failed and later took the credit just because they were made to do it...
