US man charged over Mumbai attack

**US prosecutors have charged a Chicago man with involvement in the deadly Mumbai (Bombay) attacks of a year ago.**The man, named as David Headley, had already been accused of plotting to attack a Danish newspaper.

The Mumbai shooting attacks - blamed on Islamist militants - left 174 people dead, including nine gunmen.

Separately, a Danish newspaper caused outrage in the Muslim world in 2005 by printing cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
