US involved in secret talks with senior Taliban

Burqa, respect is NOT for those who beat around the bush, keep your BS going its entertaining... Burqa & HISTORY....LOL...

Again. I urge you to quit reading Jihadi conspiracy theories. Had you read the real history, you would have learned by now some of the high level SIMPLE facts.

  1. Commies were in Afghanistan from 1979
  2. Six years later
----they had the will to deploy decent strength of real army (instead of Muslim conscripts) and
--- Provide support of Elite Russian air cavalry
--- The result: They beat the cr@p out Muj

  3. CIA and MI5 supplied their Muj-agents with stingers (ground to air missiles)
--- Commies suffered heavy losses to their air cavalry's elite troops.
--- once the air cover was gone, their ground troops had to be withdrawn

Fast forward to US-NATO attack on Afgahnistan

  1. They kept the conflict at low level after the initial rout of Jihadi Muj
---- The main focus of US remained Iraq
---- until they beat the cr@p out of Iraqi Muj
---- And installed their own government.
---- Now that they are done with Iraq and pulling out

  2. The focus is on Afghanistan
--- with decent amount of troops and equipment.

This is not too different from the Pak army's attack on Muj in Swat and SWA.
Pak army too waited for years and years
until they deployed proper amount of ground and air-cavalry.

And the result has been devastating for the so-called BRAVE muj.

Off course Jihadis do not want to learn from the history, and thus they will continue getting beaten at every front.

And so shall be the fate of Pakistani supporters of the Muj and jihadis.

Burqa, the shistrory that you have been taught may be good within the confines of your burqa but the reality out there is very diifferent…

**So according to your shistory books the reds beat the crap out of muj. in 9 months.. ** :rotfl: … !

Here is short excerpt on the subjecty at hand, I will cover amreekkan success stories from NoKo to Afghanistan and every thing in between latter but for now lets see if the follwoing sinks in or you continue your burqa BS as usual.

ENJOY

Soviet invasion of Afghanistan

**The Mujahideen proved to be a formidable opponent. They were equipped with old rifles but had a knowledge of the mountains around Kabal and the weather conditions that would be encountered there. The Russians resorted to using napalm, poison gas and helicopter gun ships against the Mujahedeen - but they experienced exactly the same military scenario the Americans had done in Vietnam.

By 1982, the Mujahideen controlled 75% of Afghanistan despite fighting the might of the world’s second most powerful military power. Young conscript Russian soldiers were no match against men fuelled by their religious belief. Though the Russian army had a reputation, the war in Afghanistan showed the world just how poor it was outside of military displays. Army boots lasted no more than 10 days before falling to bits in the harsh environment of the Afghanistan mountains. Many Russian soldiers deserted to the Mujahideen. Russian tanks were of little use in the mountain passes.**

I think you're smoking some major crack. If "air cavalry" were so effective in Afghanistan, then the terrorist Uncle Sam wouldn't be fighting this war 8 years later, and humiliating itself and it's "Brave" (my @#$#) soldiers" day in and day out. To win a war, troops are required on the ground. How humiliating is it for Uncle Sam, with all his technology and gung ho racist attitude, that he's losing this war against people wearing sandals on their feet with light arms.

Sure Terrorist Sam's "Air Cavalry" would have taken them out by now, since Sammy has the technology by satellite to know what kind of coffee someone is drinking in a cafe in Kabul.

Your post was entertaining though....

They won't be if Pakistan actually took out terrorists living on its borders instead of funneling them into these proxy wars against India.

Pakistan's bold gamble of funneling Afghan fighters into Kashmir to liberate it as failed. Its time to take these guys out and Pakistan to re-build its country.

Well you can joke about a serious situation as much as you want.

Taliban or other jihadis cannot face a modern 21st century army.

If by Taliban's "bravery" you mean they can go and kill other Afghans, then you sure are supporting the "brave people". hahaha.

For Afghanistan there are two strategies.

  1. Keep the Big cities and wait out until the small cities are cleared slowly (Bush strategy).

  2. Defeat the Talbs in small cities as well (Obama strategy).

Only time will tell which strategy was relatively better.

What we have learnt from Pak army's offensive in Swat and Wazirastan etc. is simple.

A determine modern army with air cover, who is not afraid of losing their jawans and officers, can beat the cr@p out of tribals.
