Hi,
I have to submit non availability of birth certificate from India of my father for US immigration purpose anybody having experience and an information on how to get it.
Plz share, I will be thankful.

Non availability certificate can be obtained from same department who issues birth certificate. You can also submit a notarized letter from you dad stating that his birth was not recorded therefor there's no birth certificate. But you will have to submit two sworn birth affidavits from two individuals along with a missing birth certificate. Hope this helps

Thanks for reply, but he was born in India not in Pakistan, so how could I solve the problem ?

In that case have him write a sworn affidavit stating he was born in India before partition and is not possible to find birth certificate. Also attach two birth affidavits fom two individuals who r 10-15 years older than him. That should work.

the easiest way is to go to a nearest village and talk to the Pradhan of the village Panchaayat and he is suthorized to verify the date of birth of those with no birth records in his village.

Thanks for reply, but he is not in India, he lives is Pakistan so how it could be possible to do so ?
