I’m not sure how they are going to find out who supports this murderer, but its the right move. All those lawyers and anyone who supports this killer is not part humanity or should be part of civilized world.

US govt asked to revoke visas of Qadri’s supporters
** US Congress terms Salmaan Taseer’s assassination an unspeakable tragedy, heinous crime*
WASHINGTON: The United States Congress, through a letter, the other day requested the US government to revoke visas to anyone supporting Mumtaz Qadri, the killer of late Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer.
In its letter addressed to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Congress, while terming the assassination of the governor an “unspeakable tragedy” and a “heinous crime”, stated that Salmaan Taseer was a strong advocate for religious tolerance, pluralism and democracy in Pakistan. He was cut down by an assassin’s bullets who opposed changes to statutes against religious minorities, it observed.
“This tragedy has been compounded by the public reaction of significant elements of Pakistan’s clerical, journalistic and law community, who have praised the murderer and threatened the lives of other officials, who refuse to comply with the terrorisation of Christians, Ahmadis and women,” the signatories of the document remarked. Congressmen Steve Israel, Gary Ackerman, Peter King and Michael McCaul said they were aware that the people who were praising Taseer’s death were frequent travellers to the US and held American visas. “We urge you to identify such Pakistanis and not issue them visas and applications for new visas from them should also be denied,” they requested the US government.
“Further problems are plaguing the democracy in Pakistan,” they said, adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Sherry Rehman was being threatened for introducing a bill in the National Assembly proposing amendments to the blasphemy law.
The Congress leaders requested the US State Department to increase diplomatic efforts and investment to support growth of democracy and tolerance in Pakistan, adding, “It is imperative that we show our dedication to peace and not further violence.” pr
