WASHINGTON – If U.S. forces were to leave Iraq before it was stabilized, it would create ‘‘instant instability’’ in the Middle East, including in Saudi Arabia and possibly Iran, the military’s top general said Friday.
Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a Pentagon news conference that the United States must maintain its will to prevail in Iraq, where the terrorist element of the insurgency is led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi of Jordan.
‘‘If the Zarqawis of the world were allowed to be successful in Iraq in their view, and that would be the start of the caliphate that they envision, the stakes would be huge for the region,’’ Myers said. ‘‘You talk about instability. It would be instant instability.’’ AP
Hmmm so whose afraid of the big bad islamic state looks like amerikka is and thats before its even established :bukbuk: , oh well they plot and plan and allah(swt) is the best of planners enjoy your fun and exploitation in the muslim lands while you can because your fun times will be ending soon
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
Because there are still many brainwashed organisms such as yourself left that believe they’re fighting some great battle when they strap a couple of sticks of dynamite to their sorry behinds and go celebrate amongst innocent kids who’re getting kitkat bars from the duty bound American soldier.
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
Dutybound…please…how about that redneck was prmomised $30,000 for college eductaion or a “job that involves risk” or high tech environment.
What do you call the daisy cutters or crusie missiles that blow wedding processions to pieces? Is there a special name for them as? How about killing of parents in front of their children because they did not stop on a check point (in their own country illegaly occuipied by forces with hidden agendas)? Where do these rank in your ass kissing culture of “every thing what america does is right”?
Pir ji. last I checked the khalifah land was declared a pipe dream by a lot of mod msulims and muslim haters on this board. I just dont understand why the western world pees in pants upon the mention of Khalifaah?
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
^ nice attempted speech - did you work out a sweat?
Your problem originates from a fundamental confusion between right and wrong. Get that rectified and the answers for all your doubts will stare you in the eye.
For example, a promise for a college education is lot saner than other-worldly heavenly predictions don't you think?
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
I am not sure what you are talking about, and I see how you sidestepped the whole issue of killing of innocent civilians by US forces?
P.S. Does that promise for eductaion includes truth? Such as we are invading Iraq because Saddam tried to kill President's daddy. Our economy needs a boost and oil and gas corporations could use some profit, not to mention all the contracts that will be handed out to US corporations for rebuilding of Iraq. Do they teach that or the same old propoganda that you believ in "Freedom and Liberty"
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
You heard me. But I will explain since you ask.
ak47 and cm were under the delusion that Gen.Myers's caution somehow translated to US being afraid. While setting them straight, CM decided to sidestep into rhetoric similar to your speech, and asked why US soldiers still die in Iraq after winning the war. And just as I finished setting that baby straight, you come along with the ramblings about the redneck.
Now you answer your own doubts about who is sidestepping what.
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
FM, if the general is not afraid than why does he care what muslims want? If all the muslims decide to live under a khaliffah why does it matter to the general? Now you tell me why does the westeren world pees in its pants on the mention of Khaliffah? OH, BTW do answer the questions regarding the killings of innocent Iraqis and Afghanis by the brave (eductaion promised) rednecks.
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
Kaleem, don't you distinguish between caution and fear? Does telling someone not to jump from a plane without a functioning parachute translate to fear of height?
On your next doubt about killing of innocents in Iraq & Afganistan - the way sane people in west as well as east see it, it was the Saddam Hussein and Taleban regimes that gassed and flooged the innocents. The Husseins did it for pleasure and the Talebans did it in the name of religion. Promise of a education is motivation whereas coercion by Uday and salvation post explosion are both scummy
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
Yep that is eactly what I expected of you to hide behind more propoganda fed to you the media. So talebans and Saddam were wrong but US is right to do it in the name of economic prosperity? Some standards you have there....No wonder you cannot distinguish between the killing of innocents by the rednecks and thier "alleged duty"
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
Why do you call it hiding, when I am saying it twice in the open in case you didn't hear it the first time?
HAve you heard the phrase "He hit me back first!"? That's the arguement you're trying to make when you equivocate Saddam's tyranny with US invasion of Iraq.
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
The same “sane” people that see the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq as revenge for 11/9? For the record there were no Afghans or Iraqis (or Pakistanis for that matter) amongst the hijackers on those planes.
The Taliban may have been bad but they were infinitely better than those that preceded them. Do you forget that the residents of Kabul greeted them with open arms when they arrived?
And how quickly you forget that when Saddam was killing the thousands of Iraqis and Iranians he was Americas friend. Strangely that changed after he made peace with Iran. Curious that isn’t it?
Re: US General warns of Khilafah being established
That depends Fraudia does one have to be an activist to believe in something? Those who are all talk are the ones who sit in a society that labels their nation and religion inappropriately and yet defends their host nation. That is pure talk.
Funny isn’t it that you mention kids but when American soliders rape iraqi children your ass is nowhere to be seen.
