john henry, owner of Red Soxs, hass his pvt plane ready to fly dem lawyers wherever they want to go to challenege the elections ![]()
I dont get it. To me OHIO now looks slam dunk for Bush but CNN still puts it down as "Too close to call"....with only 4% of precincts remaining Bush leads by a comfortable margin of over 100,000 votes. What am I missing ?
If I was Kerry, I would be preparing my concession speech now.

Some1, apprently aound 200, 000 provisional ballots will be counted if needed in about eleven days from now. And some 200, 000 votes still remain to be counted. So that makes a total of almost 400, 000 roughly. That is a big number and anything can happen. This is why I think Kerry wont concede, that is if Bush doesnt win in other states anyway to be a clear winner.
But a reporter for MSNBC said that there were only 27,000 provisional ballots in Cuyahoga county, ie cleveland, that is heavily democratic. The remainder are spread around the state which is a 50/50 proposition.
The real point is that this is such a vitriolic election that Kerry will not give any ground. So we are going to get run through the wringer, which bodes ill for any type of reconcilliation between the parties. Given that we know that the Senate is further in Republican ground, as is the House, if Kerry is a jerk, the Republican will ram a bunch of crap down the throats of the Dems for the next four years.
This is bad. There is nothing to be gained from this.
^400,000 remaining ballots does not seem to be a correct figure, listening to CNN and other networks , the figure is more like 250,000....and even that is apparently on the higher side. Now assuming that Kerry gets 70% of the 250,000 remaing ballots(unrealistic but lets assume)...you know what....Bush will still win.
So where is the optimism of the Kerry camp coming from.... looks like they cannot get themselves to believe that they have lost OHIO and the Presidential election with it.
249......242 now
Also, a large number of the provisional ballots will be thrown out.
What is 50,000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start.
Also Kerry is trailing by a significant margin in Nevada and New Mexico.
As well as iowa. Oh hell, I am going to bed....
kerry 242 :(
bush 254 :(
man this beast is winning again cant beleive this .
4 states remaing
iowa ( projected winner bush ):(
new mexico ( proj win bush again ) :(
Ohio ( proj win bush yet again and if he taked this state kerry is history ) :(
wisconsin ( proj win kerry ) :) some hope.
i dont really know how kerry will manage the office (thats if he wins) but surely no bush anymore.
It turned out to be a lot closer than it initially seemed.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! US politics.
A moron at White House with the lowest IQ in the history of US Presidents.
9/11 occurs on the watch of his administration, despite of warnings from intellegence community.
OBL still not captures after 3 years of attack on Afghanistan.
A terrible mistake of war in Iraq and the ongoing sufferings.
Mishandling of after war situations and weaponary in Iraq.
Global isolation and lose of the long time friends.
Economy crippled.
Unemployment raised.
Huge deficit.
Fear of draft among young voters.
Education funding cuts.
Outsourcing jobs.
Unfair contracts in Iraqi rebuilding process.
Kyoto protocol treaty rejected.
Now what the hell Dems need to kick this idiot out of WH and pull more voters towards them. I blame Kerry 30% for this defeat, as there were questioned about his senate records and contradictory votes on the same issues.
But I think the 70% of this 4 Million lead of Dubya is due to the campaign that conservatives have been running for last four years to concrete the southern states for GOP so in next decade or so there is no possiblity of any liberal sneak into the White House. This grand project is run by the methodist churchs, hundreds of thousands of volunteers doing door to door compaign and millions and millions of dollars poured into this after 9/11 attacks. US has become the largest religiously exteremist country in the world (since China is communist and India is secular). US is bitterly divided today with Christian exteremists on one hand and moderate to liberals on other hand.
As somebody sent comments to CBC tonight from Illinois that if Bush wins tonite than Canada should be prepared to welcome hundreds and thousands of American immigrants as many people are ready to give up their US citizenship and they don’t want to live under Bush’s neo-conservatives, its going to be hell from here. ON the other hand a Canadian from New Foundland said ** if Bush wins tonight, I am going to move to USA, as I don’t want to be a target of his foreign policy** ![]()
good one. lol
yup american politics.
oh nd u forgot to mention his goverment treating prisioners at Gitmo and the iraqi abuse that was ok’ed by Rumsfeld.
thrs a degree to how retarded a nation can be ( who votes for bush). after micheal moore’s documentry i thought thats it bush is dead but sighs . retards will be retards.
BUSH 254 : KERRY 252
:D
close .. now Ohio has to decide.
^ Yah, it's not looking good.
Sahar dont worry, Kerry hasnt conceded defeat yet and Bush isnt doing the victory dance :D The math for Ohio's electoral votes, provisional votes, absentee votes, overseas votes, military votes is still not accounted for.
but yeah, overall it was not a good night for Democrats. They lost 4 seats in Senate most important of which was Tom Daschle's from South Dakota. They also lost seats in House as well.
i guess bush has probably won the elction and we shud prepare ourselves for another 4 years of misery .
-
iran will probably be attacked as will be syria

high possibility war will break out in the tribal belt of pakistan US pounding suspected targets in waziristan and vice versa.

falastinian suffering will increase.
-

I just can't wait until Obama becomes a veteran and has more power in the Senate. Have to think in terms of the future now.
I wonder if Hilary is happy. She should know there's no chance she'll be elected next time. Too many chauvinists in power here.
kerry jumped from 242 to 252 ? is this for real ?
^ yes it is. Ohio is the deciding factor with 20 electoral votes. Right now it seems Bush has the majority (51%), but they haven't counted provisional ballots yet.
