I think that Pakistan will go ahead with the pipeline, but then, why should one grudge America's attempts to tighten the screws? Surely, they are not going to say 'that's inevitable' and keep quiet?

this goes to proove the yanks intefere in other peoples affairs then they have the nerve to tell other nations like syria not to meddle in Lebanon talk about hypocrisy but in reality they are a jealous bunch and if someone is making money they can't take it.

If the uncle is willing to compensate pakistan for the royalties it will lose by not going along with the pipeline, then as well as provides for a cheap alternative to Iranian gas for Pak's own domestic consumption, then it makes sense to drop the pipeline.....
But doing that would hurt Bharat Mata (Pakistani degenerates' promise land) more then anybody.....
