ISLAMABAD: An American company IOC has plans to invest $10 billion in the housing project announced by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was inked between Federal Ministry of Housing and IOC here. Initially the company would invest $ 5 billion in the project and the amount would be doubled later.
Under the MOU, one million houses and flats will be built in major cities to provide residential facilities to the people.
Can you confirm name of this company? I'd like to buy some of their stock if they are traded in US/Canada. I checked symbol IOC but that company seems too small to invest even $1B, let alone $10B.
Or it is a front for investing Zardari's wealth? (just kidding)
