If we look at past, we find fine American cars but sadly we cant say about current US cars! as Japanese and Europeans are almost beating them on their home ground!
What went wrong? was it too much commercialisation that took out the muscle and personal touch that used to be attached with likes of Mustang, GMC, Cadillac etc.
I think GM taking over many brands almost killed the competition for different makes. Same can be said for Ford.
