The Pakistani government quietly accepted the appointment. But Dr. Mazari broke the story and aborted the plan. When the new pro-US elected government seized power, Mr. Zardari’s special assistant Husain Haqqani’s first order of business was to fire Dr. Mazari from her official post. And now the US ambassador succeeds in blocking her column. Welcome to the Banana Republic of Pakistan where soon US ambassadors will have the right appoint presidents and prime ministers. i dont think anyone can shut up dr shireen

more of us should call for the end of this silly war. as the british deal with libya proves that even with energy aquirement and protection in mind there is no need for troops. especially troops killing simple mudhut people

its easier to understand the american point of view then pakistans. americans are just a set of bad moffos. what the hell is pakistan doing fighting its own people in its own provinces (afghanistan is an unofficial province of pakistan) at such great financial and moral cost?

the war should be discouraged by pakistan to expediate american exit. then we can look at who is working against pakistani interests in an environment of peace
