Salaam girlsIm 22 weeks pregs and have been suffering from burning sensatiOn with hands feet and eyes and generally whOle body just feels hot went to see my doctor and she checked my urne and said i have an infection and she has prescribed me with anitbiotics!She did say its not effectng the baby in any way but me being me im just worriedDid any of u suffer from it? Was ur baby ok??

I was worried about the same thing, but the urine infection tho initially minor can lead to pretty serious complications with the pregnancy if it isn't addressed. It's important to go ahead and take it. I think the antibiotic they prescribe is usually a minor one. If you're not sure, get a second opinion.
I took the antibiotics and my baby was fine mashAllah.

The docs prescribe antibiotics depending on what stage of pregnancy you're at so don't worry about it. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice.

Just check with your doc before you start guzzling cranberry juice. We're all told to do that to help with UTIs but my doc mentioned that the sugars in fruit juices (including cranberry) can also make you more prone to infection.

My docs mentioned it to me yesrerday to try and have cranberry juice too if i can i may get that later todayI started my antibiotics yday but didnt have lower side pain in tummy before but today i have it does this mean its gotten worse? Or i should wait a day or so for the meds to properly kick in

keep your doc informed about it!! Is it just pain in the lower side of the tummy or do you have otehr symptoms as well?
