i have an urgent question! if my lehnga gets sent to me from pak, and the lehnga or the kameez of the lehnga is too big (like too loose from anywhere, etc), is it easy to get it fixed here so it’s nicely fitted and stuff???
i’m so worried that that’ll happen, God forbid…

get ur mum to take it in by hand.. thats how my mum does the fitting for my clothes that are too big.... or u cud take it to a darzaan if u have any close by they will charge u though..

thanks guys, i just wanted to know if it's possible cuz i'm not too sure about issues regarding sewing and my mom is not telling me cuz she's pissed at me cuz i got mad she told them to change my size to what they think is right.....can u believe that! they haven't seen me in years!!!
i just have a feeling it might not be the exact fitting cuz when my aunt went to the guy at the lehnga place, he said the measurements look off cuz they're too small...but i'm small...so anyway, now thye want to make it the size of my aunt's who's bigger than me! so many issues...such little time.

If nothing else works do kaatcha taankaa according to your measurements and then have your ami sew over it:)

Would you be able to pass your seamstress contact to me? My future inlaws ordered a lehenga from India for me and both the top and bottom are a little big. My mother lives in Scarborough Ontario, so getting there will not be a problem for me.

I don't know how my mom did it but it's possible. I had that issue with my lehnga so my mom ending up putting a hook for me where I close my lehnga according to my measurements.

I know a lady in MTL who lives in Vaudreil that can help out with the alterations, I can get her number for you if you like. Shes pretty good and she will help you out.
