According to my knowledge, match is going to start in 6 hours (6:00 GMT), or around 12:00 am central time in USA
On Dishnetwork website also, the match is starting as follows:
12/10 Pakistan vs. England 12:45 AM
However, when I go to dishnetwork online program guide through my tv, it’s starting on [12/11/05 at 12:00AM] (24 hours after the scheduled time) which is an error.
Please give me a feedback so that I can call dishnetwork to rectify their error before match starts.
I just called dishnetwork and they asked me to send email to following address, which I did. I request all of you to do the same so that they can fix it before match starts.
Yes, there is a timezone difference. And I live in Central Time Zone. And according to that match should start at 12/10 at 12:00 am. But according to dishnetwork, in central time zone match is starting at 12/11 at 12:00am which is exactly 24 hours after. I think they messed up the time zone difference with their scheduling which worries me.
Zaki, I am in the same boat as you, as I also happen to live in CST. Since you noted that their 24-hour TV guide has the error, their website does provide the correct information, so it is safe to say that you are in the right hands.
On a sidenote, I have purchased the entire ODI package for $13.99, as I did not want to pay $79.99 for the ordeal, considering that I am literally unable to watch all of the matches due to other priorities.
Guys don't freak out. Similar thing happened right before the start of 3rd test when the TV screen guide was not showing the schedule programming of the First day play. I talked to the customer service ppl at that time and they were not willing to believe me that the match will be starting in an hour. Anyway they did show the first day play on time. So basically its just technical error which occured that day and is happening again. Luckily today they admiited that there is this problem however they said that the match will be shown on DISH PPV on time i.e 11:45 CST (12:45 Eastern), so need to worry.
