i m having a problem in obtaining matha patti. i want to wear it on my wedding day as i have never tried out how will it look on me i m looking for artifcial one … then i will go for silver made gold plated matha patti.
I have searched out many shops but i m unable to find artificail matha patta in khi. Please tell me shop if anybody knows.
Plus if anybody has crafted matha pati tell me its estimated cost… i asked one shop was charging 12k to 15k for a delicate math patti.
yeah i found the same problem, hence i was looking for a gold one but most shops i went to said it has to be made to order, all i wanted to do was try it first to see if i would suit it, but didnt manage to find one.
so i got one made in real flowers for my mensdhi and everyone loved it and complimented it as they hadnt seen one before.
I dont know about Karachi but in Lahore they are easily avalible in shops or stalls that sell costume bridal jewlery. I got mine from Anarkali. Have you checked out Tariq Road? There are a lot of jewlery shops in some of the downstairs/basement areas, i am pretty sure you can find something there.
I got mine made from a shop in Hyderi market in North Nazimabad Karachi. Its a small shop in one of the first 4-5 aisles or galis. Mine was silver plated with gold polish. It looked great and no, it didn't costs a lot, but this was some time ago.

hey taniya...plzzz 4get lahore...i kno its too hectik to order frm a different city....just go to tariq road...there iz a mall called lavish mall...on the grounf floor u'll find a kangan jewellerz....they r the best in emitation jewellery...they have the whole collection of jodha akbar's jewellery made exactly the same way....every thing iz so pretty over there n most importantly u cannot make out by any chance tht its not gold...i mean wenever i go to tht shop i just go crazy...theyve got so much variety...yes u can order ur own designs too over der...prices r bit high but i guess u'll get quite a heavy matha patti in 12-15k gud luk!

No, I don't remeber the name. But if you go and ask around you should be sure to find it. It was around where all the fabric shops are in the main hyderi market. You may even find other shops as well who do the same as this kind of jewelry has become so much in vogue now. And it cost very little way less than 10-12 k.
you can get it from tariq center in karachi. take your gold jewellery set to them and show it to them so they can make a matching one on order for you with the same gold finish and design.
I went to Lavish Mall yesterday and saw Kangan jewellers. The shop is impressive but the sets were not. I did not like anything and they don't have matha patis.
