I fasted for few days, and it was fine, but yesterday, it was soooo hectic! I was vomiting, but I didn’t break my fast since it was like 5 PM and few more hours till iftari! And than at Iftar I only ate fruit chaat and vomited right away. My hunger has pretty much died. I couldn’t fast this morning either because I couldn’t eat anything. I’ve been drinking water and just had a bowl of cereal which I pretty much forced upon myself.
What are things I could do to make sure I can eat Sehri, and not get sick by Iftari time? Is there any specific foods I could eat? I really don’t want to miss another day, and I want to be able to eat normal.
i don't think your bout with vomitting was due to sehrii...it was probably a stomach bug that caused it.
i think eating light in the morning is a good thing...one doesn't have to stuff himself/herself...getting up for seHrii is sunnat and have something very light...even a few sips of water would do.
Yeah I don't think it was because of Sehri either.
I eat more heavily during sehri than I do during Iftar... :-/
i guessed so...try eating light ... may be a toast with tea/coffee and one fruit, apple or banana!
Thanks guys! Can't even look at bananas and apples, but will defn try to eat veggies and potatoes.
I did give fasting a break today, but I really wanna be able to start again tomorrow !
