I have met this UK visa Consultant and he seems fine to me to apply for a student visa, but as still one has to give a heavy amount to begin the case.. I am really worried and confused. Stupid questions are in my mind. Can anyone who is very sharp in this manner, tell me how should I initiate. I mean, what steps should I take to let him start my case (applying student visa for me)? How many amount shall I pay him initially, and how can he fool me (incase he wants to) and how can I not be trapped..
I know my foolish questions will allow him to confuse me more, so how can I deal with it. Pleaaaaaaaase tell me, I have to apply by tomorrow!

**why would you go thru an agent? why can't you do it yourself. why can't you contact the Embassy of the country you plan to study in?
there are undoubtedly unscrupulous agents out there who create more problems than solve them...their motto is to make money by hooks or by crooks and then disappear leaving his client hanging in the thin air.
mushtarii, hoshiyaar baash!**** :)**
Re: Urgent suggestion required
I've to agree with KKF, why dont you apply on your own? I mean the british Embassy has a formular online that you can fill out for Visa? And why are you applying for a student visa? Because you're going to study there or joining your husband? I seem to remember your hubby is there.. Or am I mistaking you with someone else ..sowwie
Re: Urgent suggestion required
agree with KKF

Follow these steps if you find it oky. :)
1- First of all decide what subject you would like study?
2- Search online which university provides those subject as well as compare which university's fee is less.
3- Apply online and send attested copies of your higher degree/certificates.
4- Deposite relevant admission fee + tution fees in advance (for six months or 1 year).
5- Get student visa invitation letter either directly sent to you or at the concern embassy.
6- Complete formalities of obtaining student visa
7- Show attested bank statement (affidavit or a letter from a person who'll take responsibility of financial support during your stay there).

Re: Urgent suggestion required
Due to some reasons I have to apply for student visa, and its both the cases, I want to join him as well as to study..
now please dont ask why cant you be with him on his dependent visa
I may not be able to share everything
I just want to know what steps should be taken while hiring an educational consultant..
also, he will have to work on my bank statement, thats why I can’t apply it myself. hope my reply wasn’t rude ![]()
thanks but I wanted some other suggestions ![]()
Re: Urgent suggestion required
What is the name of the consultant?
The heavy amount that you are referring to, is it the study fees? If yes then don't pay the consultant any cash. Instead get a bank draft done in the name of the educational institution to reduce the risk.
Re: Urgent suggestion required
yes, its the student fees..
how much should he be charging from me for the CAS or offer letter..??
like, kitni amount hogi jo wo mujhay bataye to mujhay samajhna chahye that he is cheating.. what can be the amount (not exact but according to you, how much should it be?) and when shall I pay this? and will it have to be paid in cash too?
Re: Urgent suggestion required
He shouldn't be charging anything except his consultation fees. You can find about tuition fees from the respective college/University, they must have this info on website. And you should never pay tuition fees as cash, only bank transfer, draft or credit card directly to the institution.
