OK so I just came back.

That robotic dinosaur was $100. So I ended up buying this Transformers Track Set that has a power launcher, etc, and 2 interactive dinosaurs from this Dinosaur Train show from pbs. So you click on one dino, it can locate the other dinos in the room and then they talk to each other..they're pretty cool. He can probably go out and buy the entire collection.

I hope he enjoys them.
