Are you sure it’s not Ibrahim?
I found this on Ifrahim but it doesn’t mention the meaning.

it could be the one who conveys .. fraham means to make available, ifrahim might have come out of that

i have quite a few ppl called that in my husband's family and no one knows the meaning!

someone PM'ed me a link and it looks like Ifrahim is a persian version of the name Ibrahim!!

its a christian name probably cuz just now i was reading this novel from the 1800 era and this christian guy's name was EPHRAHIM

^ Yes, I had a christian friend back from school too, and thats how he spelled his name too Ephrahim.

alritey people thanks!!! I guess Ifrahim is out since we do have other choices but my mamoN definitely wanted to check the meaning of this name since he liked the sound of it!!

Years back--at PTV Karachi there was this singer by the name of IFRAHIM....i tried contacting him but he appears to be away from town.

I think Dr. Farman Fatehpuri is authentic here being the Chairman of Urdu (Lughatt) Board...(but then again....iss forum pe tou URDU ko Pakistan tabaah karne ka ilzam de diya gaya hai jo barray zorroun pe debate ho raha...tsk tsk tsk:( )
