My uncle says its new and the wedding may be done there..also what about USMANIA?

I had my wedding in Usmania. Perosnally, I liked the place and the food was pretty good.we had soup,biryani,one salan, naans and two sweets. the hotels are kind of following teh one dish rule. I thought the setting was pretty good. we had the classroom style and round tables setting. the interiroe and exterior both are pretty fancy and nice.
However, the background decos were not done with the same colors we had requested.it was nice nevertheless. usmania has their own deco people who work from outisde or you can hire your own.also, the waiters service was pretty fast and timely.
they even brought food for me in the dressing room.
they charged us around Rs.595/person after discounts etc.
i dont know anything abt victoria so wont be able to compare.

its zeebs100 here. Hope you are ok. Just saw your thread as am off work due to school being closed due to snow, yeepi![however got lots of work to do]. Basically as you are aware i am also getting married this summer in faislababd and we have decided on serena and am booking inshallah by April at latest. My fiancee are doing the WALIMA at usmania. As far as my FIANCEE has told me it is pretty nice, service is good, it is one dish rule as with all hotels so standard menu you can pick from [same at serena]. The price he told me was 590 rupees per person last week when he found out, that i cant remember if it excludes tax and drink bottles. You can choose which hall you want the wedding in whether it be the ground for one or the one on the first floor which he saya is slightly bigger and a nicer view. They can do your staging and wedding cake for you if you want OR you can bring your own stage and get your own people to do it. As far as i am aware i have seen a picture of it outside and inside usmania looks very nice. I dont know anything about victoria but will ask my fiancee later today as he knows alot more about faislabad than me as born and lived there but more so becuase he has played music concerts at all these hotels in faislabad before and eaten there.

hey rabia
just was on phone to my fiancee and asked him about VICTORIA hotel. He says that he has been inside it and did a music concert there for a wedding 2 months ago. He said the service was fast, food was nice and lookwise it was fine. However he personally prefers usmania in terms of his own comparison and experiences of usmania - so his viewpoint is slightly one sided becuase thats where he wants our walima. It is worth checking out which one you like best. anywayz good luck with everything inshallah.

dont stress about all the logisiics of wedin, ensure your family take control of that and you worry about yourself and your personal prep for the wedding. Enjoy the time in pakistan because trust me it will whizzz past.

You guys are wicked..Ive settled on Usmania I was thinkin of Serena but its like double the cost so thought may aswell do the wedding in Usmania and the money we save I can spend on honeymoon lol yay :)
