I am getting married next month in Rawalpindi Pakistan. Since I have not been in Pakistan for long time I dnt know who is the best makeup artist over there to give stylish and elegant looks. Please tell me which one is the best among Nikhar, Sobia’s, Zarqa’s and Nikhar.

Every makeup artist has his/her speciality. What kind of makeup do you have in mind? If you're into soft pastels with a dewy look go for sobia or Allenora's Lahmia Jaffery. If its dramatic eyes you like, try jugnu in pindi. He's really good in that. Hope this helps.

I saw a bride in my friend's circle from Jugnu and she was looking so bad. Her face was so red..... I want soft, elegant and very modern look and yet I dnt want to look so over... My husband is very very very much concerned about my looks... Have you experienced Sobia's? A friend has just said that they dnt have good experience with her.

I would suggest Lahmia Jaffery from Allenora in F-6. I have accompanied my friend and seen her in action. She listens to the client and uses Mac mostly. My friend wore a light pink jora for her day walima and Lahmia did a great job on her. Very soft and Dewey. I like Lahmia's attention to detail, while Sobia I heard just does eye makeup. And lipstick herself and the rest is handled by her girls.

I actually haven't experienced sobia myself or seen any of her brides live. Why don't you schedule a visit and meet them both. It will put your mind at ease before the big day and you can discuss with your hubby. Do ask the makeup artist to go light on contouring. It looks fine in the pics/video but very over the top in person.

Actually the problem is that I dnt live in Pakistan, and I just have to book an appointment through friends. And I dnt have even very clever friends who can evaluate makeup as well. Can You please give me a number of Lahmia Jaffery? That would be a great help. I would like to talk to her personally on phone. My Hubby is even more conscious than me in my looks on wedding day but unfortunately he also is in Paris these days... Do you have pictures of that friend? Can you please please send one so that I can see and decide for my big day? Million thanks

Hi,
I got married recently last month that is, and I booked moshaz for both barat and valima. And trust me this is without any exaggeration I loved my makeup and so did everyone else. I am not from pakistan either but i kind of booked moshaz purely after looking at their fb page - a bit. risky? I know but Alhumdulillah moshaz did an amazinggg job!! So highly recommend it :)
