urgent help

hi

i need urgent help … any reproductive endocrinologist here??

Re: urgent help

Hi cocco, I amnot a doc but I worked in the field of infertility for a couple of years and also went thru the whole process of inferility, miscarriage etc....

Have you been seen by an RE? And what is your question?

Re: urgent help

Hi
no i dont have access to a RE, we only have one RE in pakistan :(
i have been to an endocrinologist but was frankly disappointed .

actually i have two queries
1) giving proluton depot shots like 500mg on 5 consecutive days and then twice weekly,if the patient does not have a history of miscarriages, (only infertility due to pcos NO ovulation) patient is two weeks pregnant, hcg doubling every 2.5 days. Patient conceived on her own no clomid , no assisted cycles
now giving such a heavy dose of synthetic progesterone without prior testing for progesterone wil it in any way suppress natural progesterone production??

also my other query
i had a d& c at 11 weeks on 3rd oct, (no heart beat n growth wasnt very good)now it has been 5 weeks almost im stil bleeding , my gyn done tvs and said all has cleared.
im still bleeding at times heavy with pain at times only spotting
my ques is this prolonged bleeding ... has it got anything to do with the 13 , 500 mg proluton depot shots i got when i was preg? Giving such high dose of progesterone is making me bleed even if all has cleared in the uterus?

thanx and waiting for ur reply

Re: urgent help

also if hcg is ok does falling progesterone despite proluton depot shots and duphastone 20 mg /day is "the cause of falling pregnancy or a symptom"??

if the rapidly falling progesterone was due to leutal phase deficiency, the hcg wud not have doubled every 2.5 days? ?

Re: urgent help

Cocco, wow your questions are pretty complex and mostly out of my range of knowledge. I do know a very reputable board where you can ask top-name REs and infertility docs these questions and get answers pretty quickly. Heres the site:
