ok now… i want to lose belly fat by at least 2 inches…will belly dance help

those who lost with belly dance. kindly help me ans suggest some videos

my weight is 64 kg… height is 5.5 .and me doing cardio daily for weight loss bt nothing works on lower belly

and plz also suggest sm thing…my wt is stuck at 64…target is 58kgs

The problem with workout is that you can't focus on a specific body part to lose fat from it. It's human body (and each body is different from other) which starts saving body fat on certain part. For some, their face gets bigger, some get their fat on thighs and most get on belly.

What i mean to say is that you can't say that I am going to do 100000 crunches and I will have my body fat gone, no, it doesn't work out like that. You have to control your diet and you have to make sure you are energy deficit to have your body fat start consuming your extra fat.

So what you should do ?

  1. Figure out how many calories you need to maintain your current weight. Their are lots of calcluator online, use any
  2. Once you have your calories counted (I believe you would need 1500 calories to maintain your current weight, its a guess, i could be wrong) - you have to start eating less than these calories, i.e., say 1400 for first week, 1300 for second and so on
  3. While you are eating less, you have to do Cardio. And not a cardio in which you will walkt for 4 hours with a constante speed of 3 on treadmill, where you don't sweat anything. You have to do either Circuit Trainign or HIIT.

A sample HIIT that you can do is

  1. warm up your body
  2. jog for 90 seconds
  3. sprint for 30 seconds
  4. repeat from step 2

every day, keep increasing your time. i.e., first time do the HIIT for 10 minutes, then 12, and so an so forth.

If you feel ambitions then add "rock climbers" after step 3 i.e., get off from treadmill and do 10 rock climbers and then get back on treadmill to jog.

If you could do this routine with controlled calories you will see the difference with in a week. However, it would be over all difference. Once you start shedding your weight, you can add different excercise to add muslce to your tummy. Crunches, leg raise, planks are few.

I heard @Monk and @queer perform belly-dancing a lot. They can verify. The problem was that after seeing their shaking naked "tond", most people had to throw up and take the meds of diarrhea to make sure they never come close to such figure.

I read planks help. I started it recently, so can't say much, but I lost 1inch.

yes ...iam controlling my diet already doing cardio..... frm all over my body i lost wt...except lower belly

U need to add a Pilate workout to your cardio... I'm currently doing 30 minutes of cardio then 1 min break then 20mins of Pilates then 15 mins hitt... Calorie count is also very important, iv cut out all sweets and only "treat" myself to a small pice of chocolate a month... You have to workout all your body to lose weight but to help you tighten belly muscle and make it look flat, then Pilates are the way to go :)

16 cups of green tea just give you the perfect belly you required ... I am on diet and plus 16 cups of green tea without any work out it works for me

You are going to fix belly, and break some thing else.
Before going to such extreme you should consult your dietitian or doctor.
Green tea dehydrate.
Also your bone and spine needs water or some thing...
So make sure you dont break some more important in your body trying to look skinny.

A) You can't spot reduce fat. You just need to keep eatig sensibly and exercise.

B) 16 cups of green tea a day is too much caffeine and won't give you a flat stomach.

LOL @ I am as healthy as ever trust me on this i don't work out but still in great shape no weakness at all
