my daughters british passport expires 26 jan. she has a nicop nadra card valid until 2018.
we are traveling to pakista an will be back 5 jan.I jutrealised her PASSPORt expiry date im so worriednow.
wht can I do. the passport office don’t d emergency passports f kids.

isn't there enough time between now and your travel date to get the passport renewed?
if not then get an emergency Pakistani passport made for her and travel on that.
use the British passport to show residency/citizenship on your way back. (please check with authorities that this will be acceptable before relying on it.)

It looks like your problem was swiftly solved, which is great. I wanted to ask about NICOP and how that works. If the person is a citizen of another country but has 1 parent who is Pakistani, can he/she apply for a NICOP?

as far as i know yes you can. i got mine under same circumstance as you asking about but depends on age i dont know about kids.

some countries insist that your passport be valid for 3 months minimum when you begin your travel.

British passports need to be valid for 6 months atleast. Seems you have it sorted hope u get it in time! Reminds me i need to renew mine as its only got 5 months left to expire.
