My cousin is getting married at the end of December. I live in London and I really want some clothes from Pakistan so I’m ordering online.
I don’t know who has the best service online cos I don’t want to spend a lot of money and realise later my clothes are ruined!
Please, please, please share your experiences on reviews, prices (I don’t want to get ripped off even though I know I will because I will be paying in pounds!), delivery estimate times etc

I will recommend you nenacollection.com I had a great experience and still my cousin is going to order her bridal dress with them they also clone dresses they are reasonable and does on time delivery I ordered a red ghararah for my sil and a dress they clone for me which was actually by umar saeed and they make it very reasonable prices

Use the search function in the wedding forum to find posts for a particular designer and you should find some threads about them, possibly containing this kind of info.
For example, there is one regarding nomi ansari.
From my knowledge, people haven't much success ordering online or trying to.

How long b4 the wedding are u gonne come? If like a week b4 then i recommend you shud visit PFDC and select your outfits from there. They have enough clothes for anyone to choose from but your budget should be good enough. For little alterations like adding sleeves or changing size lil bit a week should be fine. That's the best you can do cuz ordering online is not that good of an idea according to me...not only its hard to trust people bt u cnt be sure of the quality u wl get at the end may be disappointed big time. So its always better to select something personally.
Edit: PFDC is in Lahore, Forum @ Karachi. Both have various designers collection under one roof.

Tahiya, why do want to get yourseld ripped off by paying in pounds to designers....ive experienced designers although have good designs...but replicated designer work is even better in terms of the material used, neatness and ofcourse cost(it costs almost thrice less a designer)......

Thanks Maham, the wedding is on Jan 9th. I live in the UK so I have no choice but order online I'm afraid. Getting a plane ticket to Pak is just as expensive.
I'm thinking of ordering one outfit from threads and motifs as there stuff is plain and simple but sophisticated.
I'm confused on what other outfits to get though :-~

Hum I know I'll get ripped off a lot but I'm hoping to really negotiate with whoever the designer maybe.
I won't go for a ridiculously priced designer like HSY, bunto etc just a low key one if I can find one with reasonably priced formals or semi formals. To be honest I don't trust copies and I find replicas very tacky

why don't u try imani studio in manchester? they sell formal wear by HSY, Maria B, Mehdi and Nickie Nina. u might find something u like. Also look up O'nitaa near Baker Street. they have a few pieces designed exclusively for them by pakistani designers.

I've looked at the prices online and oh my days they are so expensive! I mean one formal on there is £650 upwards. Have you ever been there? I mean these designers must be raking in the cash in pounds I'm sure there cheaper in rupees dont you think??
Besides I live in London and no point trekking it up to Manchester if the prices are sky high and the service is crap..?

i really doubt it will be cheaper in rupees, and even if it is it probably isn't much of a difference. infact it might even work out more expensive for u once u pay for shipping etc. plus since it will be custom made it might need a few minor alterations here and there to fit u perfectly, so then you will have to shell out to have it adjusted by someone from here. i haven't been there myself but if i wanted a pakistani designer outfit then i would probably order through them rather than going thru the headache of doing an internet or phone order.

True I mean designer outfits in Pak are getting ridiculously expensive in Pak now anyway. I might be better off getting an expensive outfit from the shops in Southall, Birmingham or Green St.
