I also got my nose pierced with a needle, the man who did it marked my nose first with a felt tip pen and had me look in a mirror then asked me if i liked where it would be placed. Then he hand me sit down..took the needle and a small metal type tub with an open flat end. He stuck the flat end in my nose so the needle wouldnt go through or injur my septum ( middle of ur nose). Then he put his hand back and that was it. It was so fast i didnt feel anything.
He left the needle in and threaded a nose screw in. That was it. He told me that a nose pin is not good to use when u first get ur nose pierced because it can come out and tear up the peircing, leaving ur nose sore, possibly infected and can cause a scar like bump.
Owwwwww. Just reading these posts made me ache. I had my nose pierced twice, both times while in high school. I haven’t worn a nose ring for over 10 yrs now. Both holes have closed up, but it takes a while for the scar to go away, and quite frankly, it never quite goes away. There’s always a tiny scar. You might want to wait longer to have your nose pierced again, especially to make sure it heals properly the first time. Good luck, either way.
