I am making my dam keema with chicken mince rather than beef mutton my mom always uses. Will it be ok..really worried. It is for Iftar. Will add the raw papaya an hour or so before cooking so it doesn’t break the chicken down too much. any other suggestions and any one else made dam keema with chicken before

I think you can do it but why would you add the raw papaya? That’s a meat tenderizer.

Chicken bechara will get cooked in a jiffy. No need to add that.

Yes. but maybe a pinch should be good. It gives a different texture.

I have never put raw papaya in chicken qeema/chicken, so I dont know how it’ll taste.

besides tbh i don’t think one can taste the 1 tbsp raw papaya in 1 kg beef qeema anyway. :confused:

^ agreed. you dont need papaya with chicken keema. its so soft and tender as it is and cooks fairly quickly.

add garlic to kill the chicken smell.

beef qeema matar is the bestest! :slight_smile: and, may be add aaloo chunks! :slight_smile:
