2) CJ issue put lawyers on the road
3) Political parties like PML-N cashed it for their own political games
4) Musharaf was pressured to hold elections, and same old faces are back in power now.

More and more rifts in the PPP! If she quit because of what Zardari told her, as far as banning Geo, then I respect her because of her stands against Musharraf’s brutality towards the media. The news follows the resignation of Raza Rabbani another PPP stalwart.
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman has resigned as Information Minister here on Saturday, sources said.
The reasons for her resignation have not been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has not accepted her resignation, sources added.

I have already given her credit, check out the other thread... Good move... Its also time for Taseer to resign for good, not from the governorship but from PPP. We need crooks out of PPP. This might be the time to get the PPP out of the Bhutto/Zardari shackles.

You can call it whatever you want it. What we want is a PPP minus Zardari, PML[N] minus Nawaz, MQM minus Altaf, and so on. There are plenty of other people in the party that deserve leadership. Some of them might be part time crooks but are certainly better choices.

Nothing wrong with wanting that. But change takes time, and patience is the key, in order to keep democracy afloat. I don't think street demonstrations can change leadership. Only vote can, for which you must wait for next election. Else say goodbye to democracy for next 10 years.
