ok…its not that urgent,but i need to know this before tomorrow…
i have a shaan masala pack for ‘achar gosht’,but i dont have the box,on which the cooking instructions are written.
And since i have never used this spice mix before so i dont have a clue as to how much spice for how much meat…or if we use tomatoes or yogurt etc etc…
So please if anyone has used this spice mix before and can tell me the recipe to follow,i will really appreciate that…
I have guests coming over tomorrow for dinner…need to know before that…!!
Beef/Chicken/Mutton 1 - 1 1/2Kgs, small cubes
Ginger Paste 2 tbsp
Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
Green Chilli Large 10. slit lenghtwsie from one side
Lemon Juice 3-4 tbsp, 2 lemons
Tomato 6 medium, grind/ make puree/ 500 gram
Yougurt plain 2 1/2 whipped/250 g
Ghee/Oil 1 - 1 1/2 cup/ 175g - 250g
Shan Achar Gosht 1 packet
Spice Mix (Use less for mild hot)
Steps Of Cooking :
Mix 2 tbsp Shan Achar Gosht Spice Mix with lemon juice and fill in to the green chillies
Make the ghee/oil hot, add meat, garlic and fry for few minutes. Then add yougurt, ginger, tomato puree the remaining quantity of Shan Achar Gosht Spice Mix and 1-2 glasses of water. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender.
Place the spice filled green chillies over the meat, cover and cook on low heat until oil is separate from gravy.
