Not a Hindi word. Might come from Persian to Urdu.

'kooch' a Farsi word. btw, koocha [gali/lane] is also a Farsi word.

Definatly not sanskrit. Sanskrit word which is used in Hindi is often, Prasthan and retreat is Palayan :)
