Re: urdu translation

Paranoid - shakki, veh'mi

Plead the fifth is an American legal concept that means I don't want to incriminate myself. So while there's no translation for the actual term, the concept can be translated as - maiN khud kai khilaaf bayaan nahin karna chah'tee hooN.

1)wahami

by the way, in what sense are you talking?

I'll take the fifth litral?
Or figure of speach.

There are different ways of saying it in urdu you know

thanks sehrish ya i guess there is no such translation for this term but the concept can be translated ..

I TAKE THE FIFTH is not something that you say in order to tell someone you are not going to answer this question …chahe woh kisi bare main bhi ho…???

when ever i dont wana talk or answer anyone about anything weather its about me or its about the person i m talking with or any general thing..i say i take the fifth :hmmm: like i m refusing to answer…

btw it can only use in legal concept like in courts as u dont wana asnwer…???

or jaise i m uisng waise bhi karsakte hain :bummer:

Re: urdu translation

paranoid would be :hmmm:
wehmi/wehm?

i dunno the other one

Not sure about paranoid, but paranoia = hizyan ہذیان , khalal e dimagh خلل دماغ

Instead of saying I take the fifth - you can express the same sentiment in a number of different ways:

  1. MaiN sawaal ka jawaab nahiN day sakti/dayna chah’ti hoon

or

  1. Mera khamosh rehna hi theek hogay is waqt.

I can’t think of a cheeky way to express the intention to remain silent or choose not to answer a question - maybe others have a suggestion.
