Hi all,
I am not a parent but would like to get a nice urdu leaning toy, book, cd etc for my nephew. He’s only 1 year old now but both his parents are American born and barely speak urdu themselves! So I’d really like to get him something useful for little kids to learn language (the kind they have in Baby Einstein). Any ideas, recommendations would be appreciated.

Yeah it's a great idea, and i have looked for such materials myself but unfortunately, the variety of Urdu children's media is very less. on youtube there is a channel called 'urduforkids'. you can also try getting dubbed cartoons for him but idk a source.
however i think the best thing to do is babysit him a few hours a week. you can model proper urdu language in your interactions and he will pick up fast. however it will be lost just as easily but doesnt hurt to try.
