Why not, it would be nice to have one for those who want to learn basic Urdu.
It should also have commonly used sentences and phrases so it would be handy who are not fluent yet.
I would also pay close attention to fonts of Urdu alphabates. I have few quranic apps and it is sooo difficult to read them. The fonts should be very clear just like the way Urdu is written in writing not like how BBC Urdu site has, hope you know what I mean.

I already have one app for Urdu learning. Actually i got this one on my iPhone for my kid. We live in UK, so i thought that it would be best for my kid to also understand Urdu since it is our homeland language. I installed this few days ago, so cant provide any review.
