When I was abt 12-13 i used to read these mystery books by “Ishtiaq Ahmed”. I remember how much I loved his stories and his interesting characters. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with his books. Can someone please tell me if he still writes? if so…where can i get my hands on some of his books?

Ishtiaq Ahmad has stopped writing a while ago. Well, as a matter of fact, he was running out of ideas. He wrote many books ... some 1000 books, I think. Most of his early work was very good. Well, in all fainess, most of his work was good but then he started to loose it. And I do not blame him because I think he overdid it a little bit. Anyways, some of his books are available through the internet.

I’ve been out of Pakistan my whole life…I try to read the local Urdu newspapers but I can’t get past the headings
