I am reading Umraoo Jaan Ada online UrduPoint.com :: Umraoo Jaan Ada by Mirza Ruswa - Urdu Book online and thoroughly enjoying the lakhnawi urdu, however, there are certain phrases i didn’t understand. Help me out

Just don't take every word as it is, down the line the typist have written "buray" Nawab instead of BaRay Nawab... so i think it is typo

There are many mistakes in it
Khattat/Kaatib koi Anaari Hai! (Writer is inexperienced)
Instead of Ruswai, it should be Rasai as written earlier.
Ek Amr Zaroori Arz **Karna Tha! (Not **Arsh karna Tha)
Now, Masi is like blackish powder for teeth cleaning perhaps greyish color. I am told.
But "Masi Hui Thi" is not known. or "Gali Chard Chuki Thi " Sorry.
If 'Gali' is supposed to be as 'street' then that is a very bad sentence!
I did not see 'Bure Nawab Sahib'. It is written Bade nawab Sahib correctly at least twice with urdu letter Tuay. This Tuay is so small that it might look like a 'pesh'.
