hi everyone…didnt know where 2 start dis topic..
but i just wanted to know ur opinion on pakistan. i mean i think its becomin to modern i dun see islam any where ..i think pakistani’s living abraod r more in to islam and its culture…what u guys have 2 say about dis?

I went to Pak after 8 years…The difference I saw was a polarization of sorts…

I saw the Masajid more filled during normal Salat times than I have evebn seen them before whereas I saw more girls in jeans and more bayhayai than ever such as dating, love related problems, Valentine’s day celebration…

So the society is divided into those who are influenced by Islam and those whose prime source of guidance is the Indian cinema or western media…

The religious ones are mostly shy and keep to themselves except a few fringe elements with overzealous tendencies, but that is to be expected as every society has them…The Timothy McVeighs, the Charles Mansons e.t.c…

Those influenced by Indian cinema or western media are vehemently anti-Islam and Muslims to the point of hatred…They can’t stand Islam, and that’s true…Indifference I can understand, but they have absolute hatred for Allah :swt:'s religion and its followers…No tolerance and they spring at every opportunity to malign religious people at every turn…

So, for people who are becoming either religious or non-religious abroad, the same could be said…However, it’s the converts who are really noble from their hearts as they make for absolutely picture perfect Muslims…

So, the Hadith Qudsi, in whish Allah :swt: promised, that unless we change ourselves, He will replace us with a nation more accepting of His Message than us…The time has come…The born Muslims are drifting away from Islam, while converts are embracing it with all their heart…

thanks, for starting this thread. it makes perfect sense what you asked.
what people call modern is actually - immorality and cheap copying of the dishonorable activities learnt from other societies and cultures.

pakistan and islam are one only when the people of pakstan and the real islam is comitted to each other for the better ment of our cosiety as a whole, and our individual lives, individually.

unjustice
cruelty and torture that is practiced in violating human rights
corruption at all levels
sound and consistent moral values
deception - personal and collective
ignorance and lack of literacy - of women especially
inequality and poverty - among citizens
unawareness of The Law that protects people's rights and assigns them their duties as citizens
jealousy - among all people
mockery - mischief making crooks
double standards of families and people
exploitation and carelessness of the environment

all have to go.

only then, we can see a strong and prosperoous Islamic-Pakistan and its self-sufficient nation.

By far and wide, I think Islam is taken for granted by Pakistanis...to the extent that even nominally practicing Muslims seem arrogant (self-confident?) in their faith, while those of us living abraod really do need to struggle.

I agree with lajawab...there's a polarization...and this we see all across the Muslim world. Overall, though, Pakistan is still a very conservative and middle-of-the road country. Look at a country like Egypt...and you'll see a huge divergence between the secularized and the religious.

i just recently seen indus music award ...and the actress ..models were dressed as white girls like i dunno what is wrong with pakistani ..the models r too bold now ...and there sayin how everyone should change with the time..i dun agree with this...i mean we should know our culture we dun have to follow other ppl or other religions in order to be where they are...our religion doesn't tell us this you know...were muslims and were not allowed to show our skin..i dunno where dis islam is going..and people have forgotten hell and heaven.

First of all i wanted to say edit the P of Pakistan in your post.

It is not happening only in Pakistan it is the problem of every muslim country.In past the institutions are perfect place to build the charchter of a nation because teachers not only taught lessons but also build the personality of the students and now a days its just vanished ppl have no sence to diffenciate between good and bad.
Nowadays countries of non muslims are not doing neuclear wars they are doing media wars,which are more terrible than a neulear war cheaper easy and results are 100%.
So ppl just follow what they see on media cuz they are sencelesss of good and bad i must say it again that the 1st learning place is your home and 2nd one is your school.Parents have less time for their childeren bcz they are trying to change their life level and teachers are going to be paid less than they deserves so they just doing their work and not perfoming any other thing to build the charachter of the childeren.What can we do now Islam is based on a complete system and we are totally out of it as the results are that about what are you talking.
Just not point out the these things give some perfect solution advices.Thanks
