does upton that yellow stuff brides to be put on there faces actuely works or is it just a resume?
^ WORKS!
Re: upton
it certainly does work! ubtan with milk and rose water makes a girl SPARKLE!!......ive noticed that blemish marks lighten and the skin texture appears softer. It has turmeric in it which is a great antiseptic...and baisan I believe that takes away the excess oil from the skin. What I love abt ubtan is that it doesn't leave the skin too dry or too oily....very nice texture:)
Re: upton
Hiya Gina I know you gave me a recipe, but do have to make it from fresh each time or can I make a weeks worth and stor it and apply it for a week.
2 other things that I would like to ask:
Is it better to make it at home or do the shop made one's work as well (and if so, which brand would you recommend?)
I'm going to Pakistan this week for five weeks. Is there anything I can use that can prevent me from getting a tan because I start a new job the day after I come back. My arms and feet especially go dark, and unfortunately they still haven't lost the tan from my Turkey holiday over a year ago!!!
Thanks in advance.

hmmm Ive heard that rubbing papaya gets rid of a tan......
Sweetpip u can make enuff for a week and store it in a tight-jar. In Pak you can try Saeed Ghani's ubtan it's good as well. You must keep urself covered-up really well, wear a strong sunblock spf 50+ wear sunglasses or even a dupatta and try and stay out of the sun.

I an leaving for pakistan next wednesday the 30th. I was also thinking to use ubton there. But lots of the brands available there in the market dont really work... Does this Saeed Ghani Ubton easily available?
Yeah, or u can search for their branches..
Re: upton
Thanks Gina...you're a gem.
I have already got spf 50+ suncream and will wear a dupatta on my head and full sleeves. Don't think I'll be able to avoid the sun, but thanks.
Re: upton
gina ... rubbing papaya is just as good right?
since i live in the US getting upton is so hard and isnt fresh at all
and to make it u need to many ingredients that are sometimes not available.
is papaya just as good?
Re: upton
ive tried store bought upton and home made ubton
why does it make my skin look yellow?
I haven't seen it work for me: any recommendations?
Miami the only thing a papaya contains is enzymes that work on u're skin and give an illusion of a healthy glow =) pineapples do the same, they're great for getting rid of tans. Ubtan doesn't give overnight results, it takes time.. the skin turns yellow due to the amount of haldi in the ubtan, but u can wash it off with u're regular facewash..
Re: upton
yeh im a bit scared 2 use upton 4 that reason coz ive heard it stains ur face and with a week left 2 mehndi..i dnt want 2 take the risk lol...
But..my aunty told me how 2 make upton at home...so will try that and put the least amount of haldi in it...one of my aunties was saying that even if i dnt use ubton...i shud just leabe besan/wesan next to the sink when i wash my face and add water to it and just rub on my face everyday..apparently it clears up ur skin..havent tried it yet!
Gine..Ive been told to bleach my chin by my beuatician as i dnt want to remove hair from it...when i bleach..should I bleach full face or just under my chin? I dont want it 2 be so obvious! and is it true that your hair becomes thicker when you bleach?
Also..last question...during a facial..is it right for the beautician to take out pores from all over ur face..my one doesnt just concentrate on my nose but on my forehead and my side cheeks and under mouth and due to that I sometimes am left scarred...Ive tried telling her not to do this..but each time she says to me that shes the beautician and knows better...im too scared to go to her for my final facial as my scars are only just clearing up...pls can you provide your thoughts..sorry about the million questions..Thanks
Ubtan doesn't stain u're face forever! Use an astringent and the haldi will go.. it's not a dye! I HIGHLY recommend ubtan for everyone! If u're going to bleach, bleach u're entire face instead of just the chin (that will look really odd) and NO bleaching doesn't make u're hair "thicker"
I assume u mean taking out the blackheads..not pores. It's normal to have blackheads on the cheeks and chin etc..
