I have not been on here for a while and it feels good to be back where I know I can get some very helpful feedback. 
Shuker hai - potential wedding dates are being discussed and we are thinking of a possible mid-july shaadi. July of 2011 that is… so LESS THAN A YEAR AWAY!!! 
My mom and I are having a difficult time booking a hall.
Can someone give me a checklist of things to consider when booking a hall/things to ask the hall
What things should we try to negotiate on? Any negotiating skills?
Catering food has our options limited as does hall capacities. We are basically only limited to 4 in Rochester: Hyatt, Riverside Radisson, Crowne Plaza, and The Doubletree. Does anyone have any other suggestions??? Any suggestions for Buffalo???
Thank you ALL who reply to this post. I really really appreciate it. I have a million other issues and questions to ask as well but they will have to get addressed another time. Right now booking the hall is highest priority since that is what will ultimately finalize the date.
