I think it will be Bangladesh defeating India in the super eights.

Canada didn’t even play in 1975. WC1975
and you missed the famous Zimbawean upset over Aussies in 1983. Did u miss it purposely coz of Fletcher? :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think Bangla will make it to the super-eight stage. It will be India and SLA from their pool. The good thing about this WC is that the format essentially ensures that no minnows will go thru to the super-eight round and thank God for that.

I think upset will be when Australia will be defeated in semi or final. Or South Africa's another sad appreace in the World Cup, despite having great teams they managed to mess it up real bad.

I doubt minnows will make a big difference this time around. Kenya in last world cup got lots of help from rain, the only game they won was against Sri lanka.

u know as I was reading from top down all the post, I was thinking just this as a fear. You never know with Pakistan. They get trounced when ever they feel like not playing…

I searched Cricinfo only for the scorecards, but I remeber those matches.
In 2007 I think may be Bangladesh defeat India and advaced to next round. Or maybe New Zealand and Kenya force England for an early depart.
