Bhopal, March 12: A young Dalit woman was set ablaze and burned to death on Wednesday by the angry upper-caste father of the man she accused of raping her, Madhya Pradesh police said.
It's really pathetic, that in this day and age people are still killing people in the name of caste system in India, and karo-kari(honor killing) in the Muslim world... SHAME...

Now guys imagine if this girl was someone you liked or knew pretty well. First raped and then killed.
Would you not use the rest of your life planning to kill the idiot and his father....I am pretty sure I would.

Isn’t honor killing practiced in the subcontinent only (maybe just in Pakistan)? If so then I guess you can not say Muslim World?
As for it being practiced in "this day and age" … What is so special about this “day and age”? As long as the ones with knowledge will not do any thing about it, then even in the year 2100 people will be asking the same question.
