Why can’t i upload png files?

when I upload, it says:


 54.png:
This GIF image has the incorrect file extension.

you sure its PNG and not GIF?

rename is to GIF then try again.

jee, you know those custom smilie backup program. I used it to backup my custom smilies and i wanna upload them.

I will try to rename them to .gif

use irfanview top open those saved smilies. you’ll see those are gifs and not png.

atcha, gizzy bhai. I wanted to upload the custom smilies.... whatever they are.. gs should recognize it... no?

rename them to .gif and they'll get uploaded. You can do that manually or use the programme I posted above.

ok, so i used irfan view... and there is no animations on the smilies anymore
