salam… its been a long time since i posted here , even though i been very much wanting too, but i m not able to post easily from my handheld…
u guys were a source of great support to me during a very difficult period of my life…thanx and God bless u all…
the update is , i lived at my mom’s house after leaving my husband’s home… 2 weeks back i went back to his place… now before u all start judging me … i want to tell u… those 6 weeks i lived at my ammi’s i was travelling daily for 6+ hours to get to my place of work in my husbands home and was spending around 30,000 in bus fares alone…i am working full time, studying for my postgraduation, trying to look after a very disturbed little child… my life was very difficult…
during that time one of his elders contacted my family and requested that i come back. that elder took responsibilty that the abuse thing wudnt happen again… well he has now started counselling… and does seem to be a different person for twice occasions came where the situation was like he would have hit me if he was like before and he didnt…
but still… i am very cautious, not letting my guard down…praying really hard, and basically concentrating on my daughter and compeleting my post graduation…just a year more to go and the i would be financially independent.
do keep praying for me… i m not counting on a miracle to happen, just trying to be realistic and to get through this with as little damage to my daughter as possible

Bless you. Sending HUGZ and lots of Dua's your way. Keep in your mind how strong you are and that you don't need anyone but Allah in your life. As long as you are true and sincere to him you can and will survive. xxxx

stay strong, and if you have some support from his elders that he is seeking counseling etc, do what you can to see that he sticks with it and that things may change, if not then i dont think the hassle factor overrides the impact on your kid seeing the mother being hit.
in my prayers, be well, stay well, watch out for your interests and dont back down

Nobody is judging you , everyone is praying for you. As long as he controls himself it's fine. Just dont let him think that he deserves an award for *not hitting you now and use that to control/dominate you. *If he's doing it, it's for his family and to better him self as a human being and change while commendable takes a long time. I truly hope he is man enough to change.
I remember praying for you and am so glad you updated on your situation. You truly make us all so proud for everything you've done & mother I'm sure even your daughter would be proud of you. You chose not to feel "helpless" and took steps for your stance and are an example to everyone who feels caught in such a dead end situation.May Allah grant you happiness and peace.
