The satellite images are just breathtaking. The image on bbc.com is absolutely amazing...nature in all its fury. This baby has a diameter of 400 miles. Even if the path has diverted a bit towards the north, you will still feel it. Rita is down to category 3 which still means 110-130 mph. Holy smokes! Good luck man! stay away from glass and windows.
My cousin and her family left Houston yesterday. My macho friend refuses to go. I think he wants to be among the Walmart looters.
