Ok…AF not yet arrived…its been 2 months now…went to the OB-GYN today and got the blood test done…lets say what the reports say ![]()
in any case the picture will get clear and i wont remain in the state of uncertainty!
Re: Update-Blood Test!
I was in the same state AngelEyes. My first blood count was low so they had me go and get it done the 2nd time. since the result are suppose to be doubled in 24 hours and yes the 2nd time it was much more higher. Just telling you what to expect from the blood test.
Re: Update-Blood Test!
ahan.....so did they detect the hormones the first time ?

hormones were present but they were too low according to my dates...i was approximately 7 weeks pregnant according to my dates but the hormones level were too low for that.
so i had another one done in 2 days where the level went from 700 something to 2000 something and i was told that its good. then when i went for 13 weeks ultrasound, the ultrasound calculated the fetal age to be 11 weeks. which confirms that i probably ovulated 2 weeks late... so now those hormone level make sense....

at least they know what could be the cause of you not conceiving. once its treated, iA you'll be pregnant in no time.
Re: Update-Blood Test!
I agree with SGC, at least a possible cause has been found, its easily treated and Inshallah you'll be pregnant very soon.
In reply to yuor question in the other forum, you are not always on Thyroxine for life- I know a few people who were on it for a few months and then came off it once their bodies had regukated again.
One cause of hypothyroidism is stress, so I guess its a bit of a vicious circle!
But just relax, don't worry about it and just look after yourself and hubby!!! You'll be fine in no time!
I've just receievd my letter from my GP and she wants me to go in for a thyroid blood test.... there must be something in the air. lol!
Good luck!!
