Interesting article I read on how some scientists are working on trying to produce more meat at lower cost by just growing meat cells it in vats instead of animals.
I wonder how Zabihah requirements will be achieved when the meat never had a throat to cut?
Re: Upcoming challenge for scholars - meat that is grown in laboratories, not animals
If they can do it with pigs, they will be able to do it with halal animals too like cows, chickens, and goats.
We are already eating manufactured vegetable/fungus proteins ... Where an animal has not been slaughtered it is not halal unless it is fish, however, where an animal can't be slaughtered can we eat the meat of it? I dunno ... if in doubt better to avoid ...
In fact we should reduce the consumption of meat ... by changing the culture of consumerism ...
