This is called ‘canvassing’ which is a little different from ‘front-porch campaign’ which later is described as ‘josh-e-khitabat’.

Word on the street is that Neefa Powdry may be interested in the PMLN ticket from NA 53 (this is the seat that PTI Ghulam Sarwar won, who is currently facing fake degree investigation). Noora's are hoping that Ghulam Sarwar will get disqualified and they can field Mr Powdry from that seat. Chaudhry Nisar couldnt digest the fact that he lost this seat after having won it 7 times.

PML-N sources insist that Barrister Zafarullah Khan and Ashraf Gujjar are the top aspirants of the party ticket. Though, insiders say Anjum Aqeel is also pushing hard to get green signal to again contest from this constituency. It is said an unknown person Khawaja Khalil Salar is also circulating SMS on various cell phones as the ‘likely candidate’ of PML-N from NA-48.

Good to save bachi, kuchi izzat. JI should have supported PTI in NA-48. But the party has a bad habit of putting a sky-high price tag on its co-operation.
