Desis are sick.

Re: Unwanted

piyaray bacho,

my qooschun for you all is what will happen to these socieites when men far outnumber women? Would practises like polyandry become permissible? Jingoism? Homosexuality? Importing foreign, especially 3rd world eastern european, brides?

Re: Unwanted

Desis also happen to be Muslims…Muslims don’t kill their daughters…In fact, paradise is reserved for those who raise a daughter and marry her according to Sunnah…

Unfortunately, the areas where this sort of thing happens is a result of the ignorant practice of attaching prestige to a male child and practicing ignorance…

PS:
And please, to the mod who is following me around GS and deleting my posts, please don’t do it…

I come here to exchange views and ideas and you deleting them really doesn’t help me achieve those goals…

Last time I wrote that this practice is widely practiced in India and just last week I was hearing about it on NPR…

So the mention of the word ‘India’ or ‘Indian’ does not come from me it comes from the article itself, so before deleting my post, please read the article…

And if mentioning ‘India’ or ‘Indian’ is grounds for deletion of posts than be kind enough to enlighten us what we should call India if we are to mention it…Hindustan? Pakistan’s Neighbour? The Country North of Us? Our Neighbour Other Than China, Afghanistan and Iran?

Let me know so I am saved the trouble of being pissed off for no reason…

Thank you…

AaaWW LJ:flower2:

by the way what happened to code reds thread yesterday which didnt make sense..the one with a picture of a jar of Revlon something or other

Re: Unwanted

yaaar, Lajawab, stop giving yourself so much importance. :D

Mods do have better things to do you know than stalk you on GS.

LD, the thread was removed as the two individuals who were being discussed found it incredibly inappropriate and not amusing at all.

Re: Unwanted

Mehnaz, I know you are my die hard fan and adore everything I say on GS…But please, no underhanded tricks…:nono1:

Re: Unwanted

On a similar note to this discussion, I was reading an article on the BBC where women were being purchased and brought into a state in India where there were very few males and being married off against their will. It’s shocking really cause nothing is being done to protect these women.

Why doesnt anybody ever tell me anything..wish I had friends

Now for the topic at hand

When i was in Pakistan manyyears ago, a woman gave birth to her sixth(if I remember correctly) daughter

and she walked out of the hospital with her hubby and left the child there... they would have taken it home if it had been a boy

Re: Unwanted

Haryana and Punjab are Jatt majority states and Jatts and especially rajputs are notorious for killing of girls.
In Rajasthan, there are villages where there have been no girls born for hunderds of years. These villages are Jatt/Rajput villages.

Re: Unwanted

why are muslim pakistan’s sex ratios (at infancy, at childhood, and overall) identical to india’s?
