Hey guys. I’m new here. Anyway, I’m trying to find a solution to a really sad, embarrassing problem. I have very thick hair all over my body (including places where it shouldn’t be). It’s caused by a hormonal imbalance. And I’m really embarrassed to go get it waxed professionally. Can anyone tell me some really good waxing ladies in Karachi, who I can feel comfortable in front of getting all this hair removed from private places.

Hi mofo, I know you don’t specifically want a brazilian but some posters mention salons in karachi that do full body waxes in the thread below.
Also, if its hormonal, see a doctor in case they offer some form of medical treatment for it.

U may find it helpful to change the thread title to body waxing in karachi.
Have u're thyroid function tests done and take medication for it too.. Nina Lotia does a fantastic job.. she's in Zamzama..

^any reputable salon would suggest that you sort out the hormonal problem first, because the hair will keep returning.

Hey. I am working on the hormonal thing. Taking pills to lessen. But at the same time its supposed to be genetic too.
I was actually wanting someone to come to my place and do it. I'd feel more comfortable. Any suggestions?

hiya i did laser for facial hair...its brilliant....mashallah if its too expensive think of this way, all the money you will spend on waxing or threading for life, laser may work out cheaper in the end.....
think about it, if its hat much of a hassle id laser it.
on the other hand if you cant, then waxing is better than threading. and take some agnus castus pills, they are a herb, and its good for balancing hormones......so is evening primrose oil...

Does the pill help to stop/lessen body hair growth??? I've heard if you got a lot of hairs on your body as a girl it means you have too many male hormones is that true?

@ Tayabbeh: Yes it true. Its called Polycystic Ovaries. Causes an excess of male hormones. And yes I am currently on the pill. Hopefully it will balance things out. Insh'Allah.
It's true.. but u need a prescription of the right hormones to balance them out. Please don't take any medications by urself.
Lots of girls in Karachi know about independent girls that come and do waxing for u at home.. ask around.

Mofo, i dont actually know any people in karachi, i know my cousin had someone come to her house, but i did want to say dont be embarassed as these people have seen hundereds of bodies and hundereds of private parts!
Also if your in england sometimes they can give you laser on the NHS!

Aaah! Alvena, I wish I could be as brave. But I'm not! I've never gotten waxed in my life. Always shaved hands and legs and been happy. But these parts I cant shave other parts of my body due to ingrowth and the works. so anyway, its scary. And I need some really nice woman who would be KIND and understanding. Lol..

I remember going to get my ahem waxed the first time and she was doing it just like it was an arm and was like blah blah blah ok all done!
But i know its scary the first time!
Remember to exfoliate your body to get rid of and prevent in grown hair!
DO you live in karachi or abroad?
I find western beauticians are more kind than karachi ones!

I live in Karachi. Yes, I know. I've just gotten my arms waxed once in my life. And it was a nightmare. The waxing woman was such a b****. She was all like, your hair is so thick. And all I wanted to do was scream and tell her to shut up. So I'm really not prepared for females like that. It'll be bad enough being half naked in front of them.
