For your info, American history is full of racism against religions, people of color and even gender...US has shown dishonesty to MANY countries..go figure!!
Your peace loving nation has played a ‘helping hand’ in every part of the world from supporting genocidal groups in South America to placing and supporting oppressive dictators around the world. And also introducing the Jihad and Klashnikov culture in afghanistan and creating the famous celebrity Osama Bin Laden. Go figure! When you have a country controlling the world’s media this ignorance is bound to be present.

I have to say that NOT ALL muslims do terrorist activities. Please stop with the generalizations. In fact, why not target STATE SPONSORED terrorism ie US, Israel etc.
Before we even start profiling muslims as terrorists, why not try to get a broader picture...why not explore other aspects associated with it? I believe non-muslims (may it be Christians, Jews, Hindus or anyone) are so much scared of us (muslims) that they are trying their best to keep us suppressed...they are doing their best to keep us separated from one another...and to the greater extent they are successful in it so far.
Now getting back to the question, I think the reason why we see more and more retaliation efforts (also termed as terrorism by west) by muslims is because there are many areas where we (muslims) have no other choice. Lets consider Israel-Palestine for example...We hear a lot about Palestinian suicide bombers (aka terrorists in western media), I am not sure if they are doing it for Islam or not (although thats what western media projects) but I do know that they are doing it for their own country, their own piece of land...and given the situation they have no other way to fight against the huge Israeli army. But thanks to western media, they always project it as "muslim terrorism". I am not saying Palestinians are not muslims; they are muslims and they are doing a Jihad, or atleast thats how they perceive since they are doing it against a non-muslim force for their homeland.
so I would say, your findings are more inline to the western media, or what this media wants us to believe and not on something more accurate n neutral.
