unstitched clothes in khi

I started a thread in the wedding section but ended up with just one response so here I go again. I will be going to khi for just 10 days in November and I wont have the chance to place orders with karigars and designer shops. I would like to pick up 3 piece unstitched clothes (kaam ones, embroidery, formal and casual wear). Can you guys name me shops around khi, particularly zamzama. I know of threadz and motifz, needle impressions and hilal silk. Add more names to this list. Also, can someone tell me what “Think Pink” shop is about. Do they sell formal wear which is unstitched?Thanks for all your help.

Paisley, all boutique's carry unstitched material.. Khaadi, Bareeze, Reet, Sundus, Gen-Y.. u'll find lots of material in Aashiana, Dolmen Mall, Gulf.

ok i was reading sum of the threads, i came up with khadi khas as well. Also i found out about needle impressions.anymore??

Zamzama is full of designer shops so you can browse many at the same time.

  • A shop called NOOR zari centre on 1st floor Rabi centre Tariq road has very good work. The shop mostly has un-stitched suits and havily worked saris. If you have time you can show the owner any design you like and he'll make it for you with or without your fabric.

  • Jabeens at Tariq Road, Shakeel's at Saima Center, Makkah Cloth house at Rabi Center and Bridal creations and Rizwan Moazzam at Dolmen Mall Tariq Road are equally good. They mostly have made to order stuff but also have unstitched formal suits that you'll love.

  • Also, visit 'Mohsins' at Saima Center, Tariq Road for formal outfits. Haven't ordered from Mohsin but have seen their work. It is awesome! They have ready-to-wear outfits and made-to-order ones, too.

  • Needle Impressions at Bahadurabad also has un-stitched fabric. Bareeze has just launched a new lawn by the name of Kayseria and it is available at all their outlets. They mostly have stitched formal and casual wear.

  • I think 'Thick Pink' mostly have stitched formal and bridal wear. Not sure about un-stitched suits.

  • Many of the talented GS designers are based in Karachi, so you can have a look at their collection, too esp. SairaJi and Cyma.

The boutiques mentioned by Gia are at Bahadurabad and Clifton .
Mahismart has already done a good job .I'll add only

** Banaras Colony/ Chowk**: Famous for banarsi clothes/saris :available at reasonable prices (they are woven there)

mahismart i went to khaadi once but i thought its not worth paying 3000 rupees for the suits.. i just didnt happen to find the kind of colors that i like and most of their stuff is just repeating after all these years..
i also went to hilal silk i liked the clothes they had there. yes, ive been to threads n motifs and needle impressions too... as for the others ill IA give them a try when i go to khi..i live in dubai i just dont like the stuff they have down here
